General
Other: CUSTOM BUILD INTERIOR The combination of a design by Judel & Vrolijk, which guarantees good sailing characteristics. The interior can be customized by you with many choices in layout, types of wood, flooring, countertops, upholstery, and hull colors, making it possible to consider a Hanse as 'custom build'. All materials used are from respected A brands, such as a Selden mast, Lewmar winches, Lewmar deck hardware, and Elvström sails. The construction method of this German brand has been optimized. By using vinylester resin and a laminated frame, the construction of the sailing yacht forms a high-quality and rigid whole. Moreover, in most models, the bulkheads are laminated. The hull-deck connection is bonded together with epoxy paste. The combination of this U-profile and the bonding provides stiffness along the length of the yacht. Additionally, the keel is also bonded to the hull with epoxy paste and secured with compact stainless steel bolts. SINGLE-HANDED SAILING Sailing characteristics are a top priority in the design of Hanse. Easy, simple, and fast sailing with one hand is the motto. Hanse uses a sail plan that consists of a partially battened mainsail and a so-called self-tacking jib on tracks. The mainsail can be executed in the usual way. With the combination of the Selden MDS system, the maindrop, and the lazyjacks, the sail easily and simply disappears into the bag. Moreover, Hanse has recently also offered a roller mainsail as an alternative. The standard supplied self-tacking jib is used as a roller jib, with Hanse advising to opt for a removable roller gennaker on its own rolling system in light to no wind. This removable roller gennaker is operated on a provision already supplied as standard from the yard. The huge advantage of a removable roller gennaker is that it can be set in the harbor, and you no longer need to go on deck; you can operate it safely from the cockpit. Convenience and enjoyment guaranteed! All lines are led to the helmsman position, including the so-called German sheeting mainsheet (double mainsheet that can be operated on both sides of the winches). The self-tacking jib, which works with one jib sheet, can also lead a mainsheet and a jib sheet on both aft winches. This gives the helmsman/woman total control over a Hanse sailing yacht on their own. The cockpit thus becomes a relaxed and active environment.
