Description
This Nautitech Open 40, 4 cabin version, launched in 2019 (delivered new in Guadeloupe in 2018), is a unit that has been particularly well maintained and cared for. Operated under professional management for guided cruises, it has benefited from regular and rigorous maintenance, carried out exclusively by boating professionals. This constant oversight gives it today an excellent reliability and a very satisfactory overall condition, both technically and structurally.
Designed for offshore and tropical navigation, this catamaran combines sailing performance, onboard comfort, and ease of handling. Its fast hull, sandwich polyester construction with resin infusion, and optimized sail plan allow for good averages under sail while maintaining great stability. The "open" design, a signature of Nautitech, creates a smooth transition between the interior saloon and the cockpit, offering a bright, friendly living space perfectly suited for life at sea as well as at anchor.
Onboard, the 4 cabin and 2 bathroom layout offers a generous accommodation capacity, ideal for a family on a long cruise or a rental program. Each cabin has plenty of storage and fans for optimal comfort in the tropics. The convertible saloon allows for occasional increases in sleeping capacity. The L-shaped kitchen is well equipped: 3-burner gas stove, oven, 130 L refrigerator, 60 L freezer, as well as multiple storage spaces and work surfaces.
In terms of propulsion, the boat is equipped with two Yanmar 3JH40 engines of 40 horsepower each, totaling approximately 2885 hours per engine. They are in perfect working condition, with regular maintenance. The fixed three-blade propeller ensures robustness and simplicity. Fuel autonomy is provided by two 220-liter tanks.
While sailing, the equipment is complete: B&G central unit, Zeus 3 chart plotter at the chart table, repeaters at the starboard helm, autopilot with hydraulic ram, compass, new Navicom RT750 AIS VHF, and Fusion radio. The rigging consists of a mainsail and an Elvström genoa on a Facnor furler, mounted on a mast and boom from Z Spars inspected every year. The boat has two manual Lewmar winches, one electric ST45 winch at the foot of the mast, and a rear winch for the davits.
Autonomy is enhanced by a well-thought-out electrical configuration: 4 solar panels of 100W (400W total) with Victron MPPT regulator, 6 AGM service batteries of 140 Ah, 2 engine batteries, and a Victron 12/220V 1200W/50A new inverter/charger. Hot water is provided by a water heater coupled to the engine or 220V. The Aquatec 12V – 60 L/h desalinator (new motor) provides complete autonomy in fresh water, ideal for long passages.
The safety pack is complete: offshore raft for 10 people, 10 life jackets with harnesses, flares, fire extinguishers, horseshoe buoy, first aid kit, and various emergency equipment. The anchoring system is robust with a main anchor on 60 m of 12 mm chain, electric windlass QUICK, secondary anchor, and complete mooring lines.
Finally, the boat is sold with a Caribel LT9 dinghy and Yamaha Enduro 4 HP engine, in good condition, as well as all necessary accessories (grapnel, oars, pump, bailer, padlock).
This ready-to-sail catamaran, visible in Guadeloupe, is offered with VAT and port duties paid, a significant advantage for European buyers. It represents a rare opportunity on the market for those looking for a well-maintained boat, immediately available, and perfectly suited for life at sea in the best conditions.

Advantages of the boat
The Nautitech Open 40 stands out for its ability to combine sailing pleasure and everyday functionality. Designed for demanding sailors, it offers an ideal balance between performance under sail, onboard comfort, and cruising autonomy.
Its unique "open" layout creates a real continuity between the interior and exterior, maximizing living space while promoting natural ventilation – a true asset in tropical areas. Movement on board is smooth, the maneuvering stations are well positioned, and the deck plan enhances the safety of movement.
Designed for long or repeated sailing, this catamaran is equipped with enhanced autonomy: freshwater production on board, reliable solar production, and optimized electrical management. These elements allow for a more serene life on board, without constant dependence on ports or marinas.
On the maneuvering side, the deck and sail equipment ensure great ease, even with a reduced crew. The electric winch, hydraulic autopilot, and high-performance navigation instruments enhance the enjoyment of sailing.
Coming from a professional program, this boat has been maintained with rigor, ensuring its future owner a ready-to-use boat, without compromising on reliability.
Ideal for a long cruise project, a rental management setup, or an immediate departure to the Caribbean, it is a versatile, reliable unit, and particularly well positioned in the current market.
