Description
The Pura Vida III is a sturdy, classically lined, and solidly built motor cruiser from the renowned Lauwersmeer Westergeest shipyard, with excellent sailing characteristics.
As soon as you step aboard this beautiful ship, you immediately feel that vacation vibe.
The superstructure and hull of the ship were professionally painted in 2019. In 2023, the underwater hull was blasted, coated, and antifouled by Hooghiemstra Uitwellingerga.
In April of this year, the ship was again provided with a layer of antifouling. (10-year warranty)
In the past 4 years, the refrigerator (with freezer compartment), the bilge pump, 2 new starter batteries, and 2 new house batteries, as well as hoses and various copper work, have been replaced. A heavy Victron MultiPlus 24/2000 inverter/charger has also been installed for, for example, a coffee maker or vacuum cleaner.
On the roof, there is a large solar panel, making you self-sufficient.
Layout: Via the spacious aft deck, a staircase leads you to the salon / wheelhouse. In the salon, there is a spacious L-shaped sofa and opposite it, a wall of cabinets with plenty of storage space. With two steps, you are in the forepeak, equipped with a galley with a 3-burner gas stove, refrigerator, and sink, and of course, sufficient cupboard space. On the starboard side is the dinette, which offers two sleeping places, and a mattress topper is available to place over the cushions of the dinette. At the bow of the ship is the 'bathroom' equipped with a sink and electric toilet. The owner's cabin is located at the rear and is equipped with a double bed (140 x 200cm) with a cabinet at the foot end. There is also a spacious cabinet at the back of the ship where the waste water tank is installed. All waste water (sink, washbasin, and toilet) is discharged to this waste water tank, ensuring the ship meets modern requirements.
Back on the aft deck. The deck is equipped with external steering, a helm seat, and a fully removable tent. For the winter, there is a winter tent available. A rubber dinghy with an outboard motor hangs in the davits. At the front of the bow is the gas locker (with drainage) and the anchor winch, which can be operated manually.
The boat also has bilge keels that make it super stable.
