Restoration project, of which the hull and underwater ship have recently been painted

This Westerdijk Zeeschouw named Swartenhondt is a very spacious and comfortable zeeschouw with good headroom. Moreover, the Swartenhondt has very good sailing characteristics. The Swartenhondt was rented out from 2006 to 2017. After 2017, the Swartenhondt was hardly used and has been stored outside under a cover.

This is a restoration project of which the hull and the underwater ship have recently been painted (September/October 2024). The Swartenhondt has been given a blue topcoat and the underwater ship/antifouling has been completely addressed and is now black. Unfortunately, we do not have recent photos of this because the Swartenhondt is completely wrapped up under a cover.

Technically, the Swartenhondt is in reasonable condition. The mast and rigging are also in reasonable condition.

The mainsail and jib are from 2009 and have always been stored indoors; a final check shows that they are still in very good condition.
