Sunseeker Yachts for sale

The name Sunseeker dates from 1969. In the English seaside resort of Poole, Robert Braithwaite and his company built Poole Powerboats, a new type of boat, tailor-made for a handful of customers. These early sports cruisers were ahead of their time with revolutionary materials and technology. In the early 70s, building polyester boats took on a solid form.

Although the United Kingdom has always been a boat builder of stature, there was no significant yard for sports boats in 1971. Sunseeker responded with the Sovereign 17 and later a 20 footer. Fast boats with accommodation that a then family was very happy with. With the introduction of the two Sovereign sports cruisers at the 1972 Southampton Boat Show, the Sunseeker success story began.

Sunseeker prospered in the UK and Northern Europe. But the fast-growing Mediterranean market beckoned where boats with style and sporty sailing characteristics set the tone. Designer Don Shead was brought in to realize this. The Offshore 28 was the first in this, entirely made in Europe according to an innovative concept. It became a bestseller with which the yard was now called Sunseeker International. By listening carefully to owners of a Sunseeker and further developing on the basis of this, a range has been created in both sophisticated and breathtaking sports cruisers and super yachts. From 50 to 161 ft. An exciting 38 ft rib has been added as a tender.

Sunseeker Benelux has been the official distributor of new and used Sunseeker motor yachts for the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg since 2005. The office and sales harbor are located in Kamperland on the Zeeland Veerse Meer.
